Community Video Storytelling is built on the idea that when individuals from a community come together to share stories of critical importance from diverse perspectives, a broad and powerful portrait of a community's hopes and concerns can emerge.
My Art Is So Loud: The 524 Project connects a classroom of DC students with a classroom at Detroit’s Western High School using 21st century technology as students participate in a series of in-depth artistic workshops based on a curriculum developed jointly by Young Playwrights’ Theater (YPT) and Inside-Out.
Since 2010, MHP has collaborated with the Kennedy Center on a youth documentary production and media literacy program at the Arts & Technology Academy (ATA) where 4th + 5th graders produce short documentaries with an arts-focus.
